You ever get the feeling that life is just a bad trip? Yeah, me too. But I take comfort in knowing that most people still make an effort to pay their taxes and uphold the status quo.

Unfortunately though, not all of us have the resources to contribute. We do, however, make it up in other, often more obscure, ways.

And that's exactly why I've got to give credit to my hommie Kyle, a changed man, for going soft and getting in touch with his feminine side. Falling in love isn't something you choose to do. But surrendering to it and professing it all over the internet is.

The fact is, this world needs more dudes like Kyle, willing to subvert their egos in the name of true love and secure handjobs.

I, on the other hand, am labouring to retain stability amidst a combination of pregnancy scares, law suits and devastating hangovers. So essentially, what we have going on here is a duality between Eastern and Western ideologies. Kyle's now a family man, wholly devout to the kin and repose; while I'm a f---ing wreck, battling tooth and nail to support myself or anyone even remotely close to me.

True, the Cold War is over - but this generation will characterize a new type of struggle. If you don't believe me, behold Stoke and experience it for yourself, because even Osama Bin Laden knows that in these dire times, we still need super models, feminism, recreational drugs and, most importantly, a love of some kind to keep the system from totally falling apart.

STOKE + Love = Money.

I wanted no involvement in my friend's mission to take a dump on the side of a busy road. I'm normally the go to photographer for this kind of stuff but for some reason I just couldn't sanction this particular dump. So my other friend, friend #2, got into position and prepared himself to snap a photo of friend #1 defiling the window of a used foreign car dealership. For them it seemed like the perfect opportunity to stick it to the establishment. At this point I kinda freaked out and stopped them from doing it.

The reason? Love. "I loved to call other people idiots."

It's cause I'm in love (with a girl) right now and it's making me re-address all of my foolish behaviour. I'm readdressing myself and starting to see that for most of my life I have been "a hater".

A hater gets enjoyment from disliking other peoples hobbies and haters are not cool people. Cool people are positive and agreeable. But, in the past I loved to claim all the things that I wasn't involved in. I loved to call other people idiots. Jesus Christ, I was a hater! So I asked my friends to please, please not crap on the side of burrard street and instead wait until we got to a residential neighborhood. They reluctantly accepted... And then, as I we walked into darker, safer, crapping territory I realized that I actually love these guys. They lend me money, take care of me when I'm drunk and bleeding and they always help me to focus my energies.

So the lesson is that if your not afraid to love, god will reward you with money and energy. And if you have money and energy then you can afford to buy cameras and websites and other film equipment. All this means that I am now ready to show the world some cool stuff. And that I don't have any lingering craps on my conscious.

Where's the stoke? I asked my pregnant sister and she suggested that it was in the bathroom. I think she had to pee. But I don't think she understood what I was saying.

What I meant was, "where is the stoke going to be in the future?." I'm asking because I really don't know what tomorrow is going to bring. I feel like it's the year 950 BC and I'm looking at a thunder storm and wondering why Zues is throwing lightening down at the planet.

In a perfect world I would be Zeus. And this figurative Zeus/Kyle character would go to California. But instead of using my god powers to fly down I would drive to California in a car full of god-like snowboarders and nymphs. And in this perfect world we would run out of gas and some local dudes would offer us shelter and beers. Days later we would end up backstage at an outdoor music festival listening to the security guards telling us we can't be there... And that's when I would use my lightening bolts.

Feeling like a Slacker-

I missed a final exam the other day. Tomorrow I have another final and I really haven't studied. Man, I really am screwing up (but at least I'm not on crack). In all seriousness though I did have a real phone call with a friend yesterday where he told me that a recent girlfriend took a sleeping pill and didn't wake up. Now he has to go to the funeral.

Unfortunately for me I take these kind of moments and justify missing test and behaving in other irresponsible ways. I do this foolishness because life does move fast. And there is something about foolishness that I find very attractive. Being foolish is the fastest way I can think of to becoming my own tragic figure in my own story about my own life... and therefore I'll do stupid stuff. Like go shredding when I can't afford it and miss important tests or forget to pay bills. For example, yesterday I ran my car out of gas when I was driving to a models houses to take photos of her while she was almost naked. It was so tragic that I had to deal with something as common as gasoline while there was a hot babe waiting in her underwear. Hot babes and snowboarding is totally tragic. And I'm really not dead yet so lets bring on the tragedy.

Coming up with phrases and sayings is so legit. So in between snowboarding and sweating about girlfriend issues I came into contact with this crazy comedy actress and together we hustled out some wicked nutz phrases for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Chinese tankers are spilling oil on the Great Barrier Reef and Polish Prime Ministers are falling out of the sky. Modern people, ie everyone, are killing the planet as fast as possible and even Polish airplanes are against us. What are we to do!?
